My Feet

My feet are my touch points to the earth. They are the roots that ground and anchor me. They are the vehicles that transport me to the next experience, the next meeting. My feet hold the weight of my being, they stabilise and balance me. My feet are connected to the ancestors that walked the earth before me and to those who will walk this earth long after I am gone. When my feet touch other feet there is an intimate and divine connection. Gratitude for these feet that have journeyed with me in this life filled with and love, joy, ecstasy, growth, challenge and grief. May I always remember to feel them and to be fully present with them each day I walk on this earth. Elaine Yonge December 2022
